It was the results show tonight on American Idol. They had a long recap of last night's show but I noticed that there was no replay of any of the song Shout to the Lord. My immediate thought was, "Well they put that behind them very quickly!" But then after the recap Ryan Seacrest got up and introduced the Top 8 were going to be singing Shout to the Lord AGAIN! So they came out and the song started with "My Jesus, My Savior" which is not how it started previously, it started "My Shepherd, My Savior" the night before. There is a story behind this scene and I don't think we will ever know what it is. Ben Stiller didn't come out and start dropping what he dropped the previous night on the show and the song was really well done. Wasn't as full of praise but it was really well done. So here it is. I'm curious of what you all think of this whole development. Again I was excited that God was held in such high regard and praised. We even made the connection with Jesus being the King!
Power and Majesty,
Praise to the King!
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
at the sound of your name.
And I sing for joy at the works of Your hands
forever I'll love you forever I'll stand.
Nothing compares to the promise I have in you.
